As I continue the path of all thing’s wellness, I thought I would speak about affirmations.

Google dictionary says: the action or process of affirming something or being affirmed. says: Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you repeat them often, and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes. Self affirmations may also help to mitigate the effects of stress.


I started doing affirmations daily when I had more than 1 teenager in the house!! My first affirmation is just for them or for me to help deal with them!!! 🤪 My 3rd affirmation is to help me remember to love and honour my marriage. Teens and marriage…two full time jobs right there!!! Deep breath!!!!!


Affirmations have become a daily practice like exercise, meditation and drinking water. I have 13 printed so I can read them without my glasses on and placed on my bathroom mirror so I can look at them and at myself saying them every morning. I have been saying these affirmations so long I have memorized them…which is wonderful when I get frustrated or stressed or I if can’t sleep I just recite them…as they now bring me comfort. I encourage ALL to do daily affirmations and It’s easy to get started.

  2. Think of what you want to change?
  3. Think of how you want to see your world.
  4. Think of positive thoughts about yourself, your family or career.
