Sandwich Night-How a grilled cheese will improve my life!
Well, it’s here to stay and I am thrilled that once a week I won’t have to make dinner, giving me the time to finish the other work that used to take me well into the evening hours to complete. Now that the new year is upon us, I have made the conscious decision to get back into my regular routine of early to bed, early to rise and early to the gym or pool. However, in order for me to accomplish this on Sunday nights, I needed help. I’m sure I said it one too many times about how I need more help, for everyone to be responsible and take initiative for their own lives because it was their idea (the ‘kids’) that they could make sandwiches every Sunday. I thought about it for a moment and realized it was a great idea. That way, I could get all of the laundry done, folded, and have the week ahead planned all before 10:00pm which is the time I need to get to bed. So, tonight was the night…our first sandwich night and it worked out perfectly. I have also decided that I will be going to Pinterest to look for some good food/sandwich ideas to share with the children. Once a week they will decide what they’re going to make and I will make sure all the ingredients are in the fridge and on the shelves. I know that this will help me greatly, will help my husband too and without knowing it now, it will also help them for when they eventually leave the house, at least they will be able to make one mean sandwich.
